It's my first time watching this movie. I didn't find it scary...maybe I'm just not scared of slasher flicks? The concept is pretty cool cuz I've heard of the "if you die in your dreams, you die IRL" theory...I will say Johnny in that crop top is ICONIC. Never even knew it came from this movie 😅

Have to pass on this one. When I was 7, my babysitter put it on and made me watch it, and for a girl who loves to sleep... it fucked me up for MONTHS. To this day, cannot watch anything with Robert Englund in it.

It doesn't hold up at all for me, I didn't find it particularly scary some time ago when I first watched it. It has it's moments and some iconic scenes for sure. But it's strangely goofy and slapstick, and takes you out of being scared too many times. I think I remember finding at least one of the sequels scarier, but I haven't seen any of them for a while.
