Hey Steven not sure if you're aware but there was a section fo the episode where we lost your audio (I think the mic was too far away to pick you up). The scenes where Clark tells Lois that Oliver is on drugs and when Lionel come over to the house.

I disagree that Lois was kinda asking for to be hurt, when she hit Green arrow with the weight. Remember that as the audience, we have more information than Lois and the general population of Metropolis. We know that Green Arrow is a good guy, but to Lois and everyone else, the Green Arrow is a dangerous vigilant or a thief who has violently attacked people in the past. It's not reasonable for her to think it could be Ollie. Ollie only dressed up for that costume party. Clark scolded Ollie for leaving his door unlocked. So from Lois's POV she goes over to her boyfriends place and she finds, the door unlocked, a dangerous criminal (who she knows is armed with a potentially lethal weapon), and her boyfriend no where to be found. I think her picking up a heavy weight and attempting to disarm her larger opponent was understandable. She aimed for the ribs, not the head. And it would have worked, if Ollie hadn't been taking the healing drugs.

It seems like steven misses that aspect alot when watch smallville. The aspect of us as the audience knowing all the information as opposed to characters working with limited info. Its with this in mind that many of the scenes make sense
