nate definitely liked jenny for awhile it was very obvious. the two characters go well together but i wish it was a little later given jenny’s age and jenny’s actors age

Whole bunch of "ew" in this episode. I was always put off by Nate pursuing Jenny and vice versa. She's 15 he's 17 going on 18 probably? Just seems little too much ick for me imo. Then the weird pervert taking a minor's photos 🫣🤢 Then we got this weirdo Serena likes. Idk, I just get estranged vibes from him. Just his smarmy smile and way of flirting does not give me a good impression like the show thinks it does. Just a bunch of 🤢 all around lol Chuck &amp; Blair are fine. I'm used to their devils tango by now, but I did feel a little bad for Blair. I think the place Serena was coming from was "Playing fire with fire just gets you burned," Take. She wanted Dan to take the high road, or just don't speak to Blair at all if he has a problem with her. It just made Serena seem like a liar to send Blair to Dan for the promise of help, when he ended up sabotaging her instead.

Such a different experience watching this as an adult ;D would not be able to enjoy Gossip Girl if it came out today. Jenny and Nate, the awkward living situation aside, they have 0 chemistry. I feel like even Nate and Chuck would have more lol. And yes, even if the age gap is only 2-3 years, when they're sooo young it's a lot. Nate had quite a few girls already, one of which was a married middle aged woman. To go from that to a 14yr old naive and clueless girl that never had a boyfriend just seems so off. They didn't build this at all, no connection, nothing in common whatsoever, the writers were like ’’well there's a teen boy and teen girl in close proximity, lets make it happen because we can't be bothered to give Nate a better storyline’’.

Yeah I understood why Serena was mad. ;D Dan was supposed to be the mature one and if he didn't want to help, he should've just stayed out of it. But then he didn't do much either way, Blair and Chuck are perfectly capable of thinking for themselves so I don't blame Dan at all for how the situation turned out, it's 100% on their own inability to work through their issues.

chuck/blair are mostly definitely ewww too. i haven't forgotten that chuck tried to sexually assault both jenny and serena. he's disgusting. and his back and forth with blair is just plain gross and toxic.

Jenny had this bad bitch moment of declaring to Eleanor that she wanted out and her designs to be HER designs etc. and for once, I was on her side with that because she was aware she was being taken advantage of. But in the same episode, she slips straight back into insufferable dumbass lmao. Tbh, super on-brand for a 15 y.o I guess, but the fact she acts like this is exactly why the Nate thing shouldn't be happening. He has way more experience in relationships, and life in general, and Jenny still acts like a kid.
