MONIAH ADAMS

While I agree that it would be better story wise if she didn’t get the part, the show goes down a rabbit hole of twists and turns with her surrounding the part so just wait for the realism lol. There will be plenty…. Ps have tissues handy for the next episode.

Just some information worth noting before next episode that I think is important to know before going into it. Next episode is a tribute to Finn (Tribute to Cory Monteith). Cory had passed away during the summer break prior to the start of filming Season 5. Next episode is honestly hard to truly review because you will see that the cast members weren't acting but showing their real emotions. Yes there are some comedy moments in the episode but I always felt the episode feels like a stand alone episode in terms of the seriousness that the performances take on. I don't want to spoil the storylines for the next episode but just worth noting ahead of time that Cory was friends with all the cast members but particularly close to Lea (Rachel) who was Cory's real life girlfriend at the time he passed away (they started dating during the filming of Season 3 of Glee)/they were close friends before they started dating and Cory was also close friends with Naya (Santana), Chord (Sam), and Mark (Puck).

Season 5 is probably at it's best mid season its probably the worst out of the 6 but if you can get through it season 6 will be enjoyable

God, I don't know how I'll get through next episode. I only saw it once and was a sobbing mess the whole time...

I mean… the Tina wanting to be bigger than Jesus thing was literally just a joke and a Beatles reference. It’s something that the John Lennon once said. “more popular than Jesus” was a direct quote and Christian people in the US threw a fit. There’s even a whole Wikipedia page on it. Also, Tina’s character sucks, but she’s not doing anything that different than any mean girl of the past. Sure, what she did with Sam wasn’t great, but Sam’s remarks about Tina were equally as messed in my opinion. Also, Tina was supposed to take over as the new Rachel, like, there was technically a whole episode on it, so her behavior kind of does make sense. I do think Tina is too often treated as the laughingstock of the show and it’s definitely because she’s an Asian woman so I didn’t hate that they gave her this moment. Too bad the writers are incapable of actually fleshing out her character like they’ve done with Quinn, Rachel, Santana, and now even Kitty. There’s a reason why this episode is so positive and uplifting, because the writers knew what was coming next. Morgan have you all the information on that, but I want to reiterate that the happiness of the last two episodes was 100% intentional, because of the next episode and how they had to rewrite their entire plan for Season 5.
