What Lana did here showed that she's pretty much a Luthor already. Her blackmailing of Dr. Groell mirrors that of Lionel's blackmailing of Chloe in 3x03 Extinction where he threatens Chloe's dad's future at LuthorCorp and their new home.

Yah I agree and was thinking the same thing. There was quite alot of lana/Lex and Lana/Lionel nonverbal missed imo
