You have to realize that they had to rewrite a big part of the show after Cory's death. They started shooting on August 5th 2013, a week later then originally scheduled, not too long after Cory died on July 13th 2013. I believe Finn was going to be a big part of the later seasons with his storyline with becoming a teacher and his relationship with Rachel, so as a result of Cory's death they had a bunch of rewrites to do

Also, everyone has different music tastes, but as someone who has always loved the Beatles I loved this episode's music selection

I feel like you have to realize that just because you wouldn't propose like this doesn't mean it wasn't right for them. Kurt is the type of person that would like this grand proposal so it works for them

I didn't realize people weren't feeling this episode. I think doing a Beatles focused episode to begin Season 5 was a smart move. It was a lot of fun, and it makes sense that they would try to get in as many Beatles songs as they could. Ryder said he was quitting at the end of the year. Also, they did break Kitty and Puck up - it was a throwaway line, but I remember her mentioning it in Season 4. Irregardless of what you actually think about Blaine and Kurt getting engaged, the proposal was perfectly made for Kurt and that was the point. Blaine knows Kurt very well, and this was the perfect proposal for him. Also, it's Glee - Will and Emma's proposal was a whole synchronized swimming number, like, of course the proposal of arguably their most popular couple would be grand. Also, I think you underestimate how much broadway loves a diva - that's why Lea Michele is on Broadway doing Funny Girl now and grossed nearly $2 million in her first week. Sure, it's nice to be humble and a good person, but people love hard-workers, with insane talent, and ambition and confidence (arrogance, really) like no other. So, Rachel might have been "doing too much" but it would only make them more interested in her for the role, I mean, that's how she got into NYADA - by being annoying and talented lmao

I literally don't listen to the Beatles, but I still enjoyed this musically, like idk, I had fun!

Does it annoy anyone else that when Steven isn’t feeling something he always ends up not even fully reacting to the episode or movie. He’s always doing some other shit. It’s the job of a reactor to react not look at your phone and not pay attention to what you’re supposed to be reacting to. We literally pay you to do that

vince

What happened to all the s4 reactions?
