I think Taylor left her purse with the cash unattended bc this is a party full of super rich kids. Why would they steal that? Which is also why Ryan immediately knew Volchok stole it bc he's the only non-rich person at this party.

Also I think the reason why Ryan is just always saving Marissa, even from situations (especially from situations) she put herself into with her naivety and her blindness to reality, is bc Ryan has a savior's complex and Marissa is always the one in the most dire situations. He has grown and he sees how much this savior's complex gets him into trouble but he still sometimes can't help it. You can see it in the scene with Volchok so clearly: he was calm when Volchok was throwing all this shit at him, but once he threatens to drag Marissa back into his bullshit, Ryan snaps and comes at him.

This is a surprisingly meh episode. Some fun bits (love Summer) and it's always great to see Taylor, but overall nothing special. The last episodes of the season are good though.

Oh yeah I find the Summer/Seth drama pretty funny too. The way Summer drunkenly says "I love you too!!" cracks me up 😂
