the only connections aang had to his life 100 years ago was his stuff, appa, and momo. so seeing aang find a friend from way back then still alive and being able to talk to him like that was amazing to me because i imagine its really hard for aang for everything and everyone from back then being gone so i love this episode for giving aang a bit of that connection back.
