Poor Leonard.. but I love his mother as a charachter!

Hey, you keep saying that Penny rejected Leonard for being too smart, but that's not really true. Penny was insecure to be with someone like Leonard, thinking he couldn't possibly be interested in her for anything other than her looks. When Leonard found out and confronted her, Penny was already pissed that Sheldon couldn't keep her secret and then Leonard gave her a flyer for community college. Leonard thought it could help with her insecurities, but Penny thought Leonard wanted her to go to college, so she would get smarter and more interesting. She just took it the wrong way. Leonard was upset when Penny got with that other physisist and said he doesn't understand why she is with him, when he is even smarter than Leonard himself. I think, Penny didn't feel insecure around that guy, because she was mainly attracted to his looks. The whole thing seemed like a casual fling, so she wasn't worried about him losing interest in her. Sorry, just wanted to ramble.

it's only season 2 we have a long time for anything to possibly develop with "lenny" we get more characters and development from everyone like i get what youre saying your concerns are valid on penny and Leonard only being a thing when drunk but that's why he got kicked out of bed lol just let the lenny play out or not if you hate it i totally get it but we have 10 more seasons of growth lol
