Its difficult for me to comment on some of your analysis without giving things away, argh. But, the guy DID die, he was shot in the head and she saw it, we didn't. I haven't kept up with any discussion on where you are posting your videos, but I have to say that your portion is clear and fine, but the Dexter portion is very blurry and grainy. I chose to connect directly to Amazon and use picture in picture. Hard to sync up but worth it.

I'm gonna give it a few more episodes before I take a stance on my thoughts so far but I agree, the lady feels like the killer and I'm also not a fan of "big" characters being introduced so late in the game. other than that, seems fine

I, for one love the storyline with the psychiatrist. It makes sense for Harry not to have done it alone, since in flashbacks before we see how unsure was Harry about Dexter and how he killed himself when he realized what he created. I never thought about it before I saw this season but for someone as straight as Harry to understand Dexter better, there had to be a conduit. And this woman fits perfectly in the story. I'm just sad they haven't introduced her earlier, It would have made for an easier transition. But look at Dexter's brother, he waited 20 something years before he reached out to Dexter even though he could have gone and seen him straight after getting out of the mental institution he was in. Sometimes it happens. I do like the fact that there is a person who truly understands where Dexter is coming from. And most importantly someone who can actually makes sense of his urges and persona. Just a thought.

I really like her she’s pretty awesome. In a way she is a mother to him nurturing dexter and Harry in a way.Harry was a straight and narrow road of justice when he got dexter though he became worried and wavering. Anyway I can’t say anything without revealing it but I personally love this season even though a lot of people dislike it.the only thing I have issues with is Deb she just annoys me cause she acts like she has no choice or dexter is the wrong one but there are plenty of time she could have said no I’m Turing you in. Not to mention her saying she should have shot Dexter in the container instead of Maria was uncalled for. She could have shot him he told her to shoot him she didn’t .That’s not on dexter he’s got kids he’s got to look out for obviously he wants to stay with Harry. I’m sorry to anyone who likes deb but I feel like her character over the seasons has become that hissy fit character that just wants to complain. I also think her saying Maria was a good person was just her emotions getting to her. Maria was a horrible person she definitely wasn’t a saint. Anyway great reaction I hope you like the next episode more

I understood why Harry being who he was would have thought Dexter was a psychopath and he had to channel Dexter's urges. BUT Dexter is NOT a psychopath and I've mentioned this before. THAT is why I don't like this particular story line. She should have known he was not a psychopath. Dexter was NOT born this way and that is such a huge distinction. Dexter wasn't born. He was MADE. He is a sociopath. Had Harry sought treatment from someoen who wasn't a crackpot like this lady maybe Dexter could have had a more normal life. CLEARLY Dexter always had a sense of right and wrong and while he faked some emotions he was capable of loyalty and caring to some extent. This therapist looks surprised every time Dexter seems to care about something because if he is what she told Harry he was... he wouldn't care. He wouldn't be like he is. At least Harry alone would have a reason to be wrong but bringing in this psychoanalyst/therapist woman it seems like she SHOULD have known and so either she DID know and made him into a killer anyways or as an even more pathetic storyline she was just wrong about Dexter.

It's hard to discuss this without giving somethings away and I don't want to spoil it for Steven, but I agree to some extent. In the real world there is NO therapist who would treat someone without having even met them. Her first mistake and one that is a writer's trick that I don't feel we can hold against her, but against the writers LOL.
