You'd know the actor playing Skip the Demon as Roy from The Office, i.e. Pam's fiancé at the start of the series

It just hit me how many Dexter connections there are. Girl at the house plays on Dexter, who ironically is the sister of a character named Angel. Also in season 1, Doyle’s ex is played by a woman who was on Dexter who dated Angel. There’s another cool tie in I won’t mention yet as I think it the buffyverse part of the connection hasn’t happened yet.

I can't speak for everybody else, but I agree with you that almost everything about a potential Angel/Cordelia pairing is healthier than an Angel/Buffy pairing.

Skip was also present in one of the early episodes of the season, back when Lilah roped Angel into rescuing Billy from eternal torture.

I'm so and so I think Buffy and Angel were great also people forget that buffy was a teen so you know how teens work but like buffy said she will never be normal any relationship will be hard for her I think the buffy and angel thing helped build into who they are now

Oh my gosh. How could I forget the obvious one. The actress who plays Darla is also on Dexter as a main character. So that’s 4 right now, if you include the fact that both shows have characters named Angel. Was looking it up, the other tie in I won’t mention yet is actually in the next buffyverse episode. Once that episode is up I’ll mention what the little tie in is. That one is very subtle and easily missed. None of the things are major story or plot points. Just cool little nods that I guess the Dexter crew included. Not really sure. I did see one of the Dexter producers used to be a writer on Buffy. So there’s that.

I’m with you 100% on the Cordy/Angel thing. I love the way their relationship has evolved over time. Whether it’s romantic or not I think that there is a love and chemistry between them. They rely on each other. It’s the kind of friendship that in real life you could for sure believe would evolve from a close friendship to something more. I never really cared for the Buffy/Angel thing where they were just like instantly in love from the first time they met. Angel on Buffy exited to service Buffy’s storyline and the forbidden, slayer in love with a vampire thing that the teen audience would be like. But it didn’t do much for me since I was a grown adult when I watched Buffy for the first time.

He wasn't in love with her at first sight, he cared for her, didn't want to see her hurt in LA and she thought he was kind of annoying first of all, it was all very unsure until early season 2. I'm not in to them so much now knowing how far she comes. She needs someone who can handle all that depression and self righteous idiocy.
