Regarding Becca "walking into the room willingly" with Homelander - which I know you understand provides NO insight whatsoever into whether or not Becca was raped inside the room - the episode implies that Becca was there, at least initially, for a business meeting. In the flashback at the beginning, Homelander told Becca he wanted to meet on Monday to discuss his media strategy; later Mallory says the video was taken a few days after the Christmas party, implying this was that meeting; and in the video Becca was wearing a business suit. We still obviously don't know exactly what went down in the room and afterward, but just wanted to clarify that point.

It is the difference between a storytelling/film structure standpoint and thinking about reality. In reality in almost all cases it means nothing and nobody should think otherwise. From a narrative/storytelling point of view almost everything you show should have a purpose - what is shown, how it is shown, when it is shown etc. In the narrative there isn't any reason to show the footage. We know she had to be with Homelander alone at some point for it to have taken place so showing this at all isn't needed, showing the fact in such a very specific way has implications that are not (necessarily) present for a real life example of what that would mean - because we are looking for the purpose of the storytelling taking place with that footage as a result.
