With the Vampire guys and school I always just thought it could maybe be a couple things either they recently got turned or they could have been turned a while ago and just have been pretending. Dawn said she saw him at some parties and parties are usually at night time so they could have been going to them and if the school is big enough and being in a different grade then they say they are in it's possible that they don't even go to the school anymore and they both just saw or met them at the parties and wouldn't know they don't go to the school anymore.

Can't wait for next upload. Also very nervous as to stevens reaction to it

Michelle Trachtenberg was around 16 at the time and definitely went through a growth spurt between season 5 and 6. The next episode is a bit longer than usual, about 50 minutes, so hopefully you see the full version and not the edited one that's in some places.

YAY!! A Buffy update!! I haven't even watched this reaction yet but I just had to say how happy I am there's a BTVS update as the next episode is my ULTIMATE favorite. It's so cool. Can't wait for your reaction to 6x07.

Andrea

As has been mentioned, PLEASE make sure you watch the full version of the next episode (which should be notably longer than usual). This is very important, lol. Looking forward to the next couple reactions.

This is my least favorite out of the Halloween episodes but it was still rather solid. I like the fact that it centered on the gang and the things they're going through in life. They're truly growing up, and it's such a great thing to watch the character development as each season progresses. It's literally my favorite thing about this show, these characters feel like real people. And I agree with pretty much everything Steven said. About the Willow thing, you said it makes kinda sense where she's at right now, but I think it makes perfect sense if you think about how long it took for us to get to this moment. Think about how insecure Willow was in season 1, and how her confidence grew almost in conjunction with her magic. It was only a matter of time before it got to her head, and as uncomfortable as it is to see her behaving like this, I love the fact that the writers don't shy away from what enormous power can do to a person's psyche. Another thing I want to say is I hate the fact that Steven got spoiled about Buffy/Spike. It makes total sense why he's reading into every interaction they have together and making assumptions but it would've been a lot better if he hadn't had all these expectations. So since everyone's commenting on how excited they are about the next episode, I hope all that built up expectation doesnt dampen his experience. Its unfortunate that this happens to a lot of Buffy reactors. Like I truly get how excited one can be about their favorite episodes but just think about it, wouldn't it be totally awesome for them to go in completely blind? Why spoil it even a little bit for them? All this to say, I'M SUPER EXCITED FOR THE NEXT EPISODE! Lmao 🤣

I actually really like this episode & it starts what is -- in my opinion -- one of the best run of episodes Buffy has ever done with 6x7, 8 , 9 and 10. I'm so excited! For the Willow thing, I don't think it's because she was delving deeper into the arts while Buffy was gone. I think it's the fact she brought Buffy back, and now she feels like she can do anything. She's lost respect for the rules of magic and now thinks she's above them because she broke already broke the cardinal rule. Buffy said "We should do something" and I think she meant for Xander and Anya to celebrate, hence the party. But I agree, the way she said it made it seem like "We should do something about this." as in break the engagement up. I think it's the only time SMG delivered a line ominously and without direct meaning. But maybe that was an acting choice, because Buffy feels disconnected from herself, so she's not putting the same amount of pep into her words. idk.

I just noticed for the first time that the chair Dawn is in is taped together

Please please please make sure you are reacting to the full version of the next episode. Can somebody send him a proper link?

Just watched the reaction. Don't worry, we all thought Dawn was being an idiot. Sure, it's understandable and she is just a teenager, but it's idiotic behavior for sure. The next few episodes are pretty damn awesome so I'm so excited for you to react to them.

Of the three Halloween episodes, this is my least favorite. It’s not awful, just nothing special. I don’t know what you were reading into Buffy’s reaction to Xander’s announcement or the scoobies supposedly awkwardness. When Buffy told Giles “we have to do something”, it wasn’t anything suspicious or nefarious, she was just referring to a celebration, as seen in the next scene. Each time I think about Xander and Anya getting married, I have to remember that he is just 21 year old and even though they both have supposedly financial security, it’s still pretty young to get married. Yes Willow’s actions were unforgivable. I almost rewatched you reactions to count the “dumbass” “idiot” “stupid” and so forth 😏

Dawn has been stealing stuff from the magic shop since last season. You always notice it and then forget. But she's a kelpto.

Season 6 is my least favorite, mostly because of "The Three" villains and the unpleasant change in Willow. But Season 6 holds some great episodes including my favorite of the whole series. A weak point in the whole series is Buffy's inconsistent fighting prowess. Thru-out the series it is unpredictable how easy or difficult she finds killing vampires to be. I did not care for this episode but it did bring focus to Dawn's klepto issue, Willows magic addiction issue, and Buffy's issues with taking grown up responsibilities. Also the Xander-Anya status finally resolves.

Andrea

S6 is a lot like S4 for me in that it has one of my least-favorite main arcs/villains but also a few of the best individual episodes of the series.

It's because he looked away during the cut so he just heard Buffy say "we have to do something." It's a transition joke that only works if you're paying attention.

This is one of my LEAST favorite eps in the series... But, the Dawn is clearly growing up. I see ppl are excited for episode 7... And that there's a short version somewhere out there... Didn't know that, but for sure you're never gonna want to watch the shorter version of a show. Makes no since. Yeah... The next episode is... Ok... Whatever... No bigs. I can take it or leave it🔥❄️
