OMG I can't believe yall watching this, I love Vikings, really well realized and good acting. So yes, at first the story didn't have a big budget for the series, but as the hype about the Vikings kept increasing throughout the seasons, more and more of the budget was allocated and you will see the sets and the way it's filmed are better. As you can imagine, we do not follow Ragnar as a leader, he is simply a farmer but he has ambition, he is a visionary for his time which will push him against the current of the Viking laws in force and his Earl. Then you will see what becomes of him in the future, but for the moment he is a farmer and a warrior. I like the fact that we see that women were treated almost equally like men, they had the right to fight and to be warriors whereas we know at that time in Europe, women were mostly possessions, used for marriage and offspring. I can't wait for you to see the next episodes, they are really interesting. Besides, David I don't know if you recognized Earl's wife, it's Torri, who plays Will's ex-wife in Glee.

Oh man I love Vikings I can't wait to see this. Also if you like historical shows and ones about Vikings another good one is The Last Kingdom.

The Last Kingdom after this is a MUST!!!!! Vikings back then didn't really know what was to the west. They didn't know how far or if there was land. The beginning the Person Ragnar see's is Odin (crow guy..lol). It's called a sundial....and the other was a sandstone...and used for cloudy days....not at night.
