My favorite episode of the season and second fave of the show. I love it for some of the same reasons you do. Very less of Schuester and more about the actual glee kids. All the main glee kids got their own storylines & it meshed insanely well together. Glee writers may be terrible when it comes to some stuff on the show but the emotional moments always hit hard. I’m a little sad you didn’t appreciate the little sam and mercedes moment as it’s one of my favorite moments of the show because it was the exact fairytale mercedes wanted & sam was so sweet with it 🥺 but another great reaction! All the songs hit as well & santana & mercedes proved once again they’re the best singing duo! Dancing Queen is definitely in my top 5 most played glee songs & I have no regrets lmao. Excited for you the finish the rest of the season, the next two eps are both pretty good! And also happy holidays to you and your family! 🤍

I just can’t bring myself to feel for karosky he just bugs me. Love kurt and Blaine moments and I always love seeing Burt he just cares so much about kurt it’s great. I don’t like Finn I never have and probably never will. When people say he’s such a good guy I can’t help but think of this episode and the the kissing booth episode. He was totally in the wrong this time. Sam and Mercedes moments where awesome. They don’t have a whole lot of screen time together but when they do it’s just super wholesome and happy! Great reaction!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF THE ENTIRE SHOW! IMO this is the best episode of the show. This episode encapsulates everything that everyone loved about glee. We all have different reasons for loving the show, we all have our favorite characters and couples and I feel like there is something for everyone in this episode. Whether you love faberry or finchel, or klaine or st Berry, or Brittana or Bartie, everyone has a good moment. Whether you love glee for the music and fun, the outrageous comedy, or the serious discussion and emotional moments, it’s all in this episode, and it’s handled pretty well. I love the scene where karofsky runs off and Blaine comes in and how you see the juxtaposition of one gay man who is not ready to face his fears and another one finally facing his fears after so long. I love the depth and layers that this episode gave to Santana and Brittany. I love Quinn’s breakdown and how you can see how much she’s struggling and how she’s just fixating on prom queen as a sign that she’s loved. And as much of an asshole Jesse is, I love what his character brings to the show.

You know as many times as I've been waiting for one of the girls to slap the nonsense out of Rachel, this is the one time she didn't deserve it. Finn's behavior isn't her fault and I know Quinn was rightfully upset, but damn. My heart hurt so badly for Kurt, he had been through so much as it is and for everyone to humiliate him like that just pissed me off, but I'm so proud of him too because he owned that crown.

Okay, I hated both Finn and Quinn at this point in the show when it was first airing, but by the end of this ep I hated Finn way more than Quinn. I was only shipping Brittana at this point and mostly just watching for them, Santana’s snark, Sam’s lips, and the musical performances . “Rolling In The Deep” is one of my favorite Glee covers. “Dancing Queen” is also great vocally and fun for the energy of it.

Rolling in the Deep is my all time favorite Glee cover Lea and Jonathans voices are like butter, even more so together. I've never been the biggest fan of Quinn or Finn, but in this episode I tolerated Quinn more than Finn, he was just an all out jerk in my opinion.
