Ya'll are smashing it in making subscription worthwhile. So many additions! Fingers still crossed for Brooklyn 99 from David after The Good Place and Broadchurch from Steven and David together, maybe after Jessica Jones finishes?

I think at this point both kids are troubled and a bit lost in their lives. Alyssa is using sex and profanity to feel like what she thinks an adult is, and James is looking for something to make his life interesting and feel important, so he has decided he is a psychopath and will be a serial killer or whatever. However, I get the vibe that they are both more playacting than actually wanting to do the things they think/talk about. It's an interesting take on the malaise of suburbia where things can feel uninspired (his dad) and inauthentic (her mom). They both also have an absent parent who they may have idealized to some extent. Excited to see where this goes with you. (I have watched before, but it's been a while). Glad you are getting into the offbeat vibe. This show is pretty awesome and unique and deserves much love.

James is super scary where all he has in his mind is killing Alyssa. I’m glad you enjoyed the episode, I can’t wait for more reactions!

I’m really glad you’re reacting to this show. It’s weird to say but I can relate to both of the main characters when I think of how I was in high school. I love animals more than people though, so I hate that James killed so many animals 😭.
