I hope you realized we got a new power in this episode, before this episode he didn't have Heat Vision and it's like apart of his development, him being a teenager and all. Im glad you loved this Episode. I'm tellin you the amount of compelling acting on Smallville is really under rated from literally all it's characters. FYI Chloe has the wittiest lines in this show, you'll love it

I agree that this was a fun episode. But we did get development, including Lana and Whitney, Clark and Chloe, Clark and Lana ( just a smidge but still ) and least but not last we got Clark's new power. This episode was such fan. I am kinda surprised at the score. For Smallville standards up until now I think this is the best 'monster of the week' episode thus far, so fun. It's a low 9 for me.

"Why did she even get this job?" When Chloe recounted her past, she told Clark that Desiree (Desire, get it? *sledge hammer subtlety*) uses high school boys to off her husbands and that after her second marriage, she went broke because of bad investments in the stock market.

I love this aspect of the show. You really feel it's a coming of age super hero show, he has to figure it out all his powers, even his sexual initiation. It's a great show to have fun watching, it doesn't overexplain things and trust the audience to understand it. It has a great mix of funny stuff with super powers in the day to day life.

Hey Steven! Hope you see this: In this show we discover Superman’s powers little by little. I believe at the start he just has strength and speed. We’ve had two new ones in certain episodes, X-ray and now heat vision, but that’s all. We were teased he might have flown a bit with the help of the tornado, but things like super hearing (which you’ve said in a couple of episodes that he has) have not been ‘discovered’ yet.
