Glad you enjoyed this episode! This is definitely one of the lesser liked episodes by the Chuck fanbase, due to the darker tone of the episode (I for one love the darker episodes). This season has 24 episodes, btw. But just like in Season 3 NBC back-ordered more episodes after the 13-episode run this season was meant to be. I didn't know whether or not to tell you this, but I feel like this is important information to have, especially since you seemed confused after the Mid-season finale last season when Chuck shot Shaw. As you know, Chuck was always on the brink of cancellation, but thankfully Chuck fans and Subway pulled through and gave us 5 seasons :). I do agree with you completely though. Sarah shouldn't listen to Chuck's mum, because she really hasn't succeeded in her mission being undercover at Volkoff Industries, but Sarah clearly respects her. And I don't think anyone disagrees about your sentiments regarding Timothy Dalton. Volkoff is just a really, really fun villain to watch.

This is why the mother stayed so long because she needed to get the hydra network which was - as she said - more important than the man himself. And trust me there is another reason yet to be revealed. Don't judge the storyline before it is concluded. This show is awesome, loved your reaction when Casey fell the second time.

really? i never heard of fans not liking the darker tone of this episode. this is one of my favourite parts of shows like these, for example when psych did the yang episodes, the darker tone was so amazing in a comedy show.
