Reed James

JD is too immature at this time. So none of his relationships work, let alone Elliot. And, yes, the actor who played the janitor was in the Fugitive.

Primus

JD and Elliot are doctors, its almost like a rule, at least in TV shows that they don't have time to meet other people and they always revolve around each other. The hospital is their world and the rules for dating and relationships are different. Even though it happens there aren't many outsiders that date people from the hospital plus their chemistry is great considering their wants and needs. So I was always rooting for them while at the same time knowing they are probably not ready for a serious relationship. But also knowing that revolving around each other for so long is bound to deepen their relationship as well as their feelings for each other.

I think the age gap between Carla and Turk is maybe 5ish years at most. You figure, he went through undergrad, grad school and med school and is in his third year at the hospital which should make him 30ish and she's older but I don't think that much. She could have worked at the hospital 10 years and be in her early to mid 30s.

I've just always thought they worked as friends best. I mean he's attracted to her from the start but that's not love. It's just J.D. being J.D. Too immature to be able to determine the difference between lust and love.

Assuming he had to go the undergrad route. It isn't required everywhere in the US for medical school (and in most countries is never required, I found it bizarre when I learnt this about the US).

There was a scene with JD imagining himself as Turk that seems to have been cut out...
