The reason why Klaus couldn’t hear Elena and Damon is because he wasn’t listening. Stefan could only hear them because he was listening for Ray. Also, the ending.. When I first saw it, I reacted the same way you did!! 😂 I was so confused!

I really like the change that Klaus gives to the series, he is a direct, frontal and manipulative character, he is bad and he allows himself this bad role unlike the others who are each in turn unbearable martyrs.

This is the type of mess from Elena that gets on my nerves. She went into the mountains on the day of the full moon thinking she could get Stefan back. Hiking high up in the mountains. It wasn’t a quick trip up or down looks like. She knew no one would let her go alone so she basically dragged Ric into danger. And he called Damon cause he knew better than to take a helpless human into the mountains with werewolves alone. Elena had no damn plan. Stefan is with Klaus! Did she think she was going to sneak up on Stefan and talk him into leaving with her or kidnap him if he didn’t? Did she think Klaus would just sit there and watch them fight it out? Or not come after Stefan if he left when he wasn’t looking? Stefan made a deal with Klaus. If he breaks it what exactly does Elena think will happen? And he’ll find out she’s alive too? Then what? She never thinks things through and folks get hurt.

That is so right, thanks you, Elena always thinks about how she feels and what she wants to do with the people she loves. At first she wanted to find Stefan to see if he was alright, okay then Damon saw him, he told her, maybe mentally he is not the best but he wasn't hurt, so then she kept wanting him back, following him into the damn mountains to do what? You said it, there was no damn plan, no thinking, no intelligence, no strategies and then they wondering why they loose people, they never think of an actual stratégie like Klaus does. I mean it's outstanding to me that for her it's normal. Anyway, I won't get ahead of myself 🤣 but Klaus really was welcome to me because he brought a lot of changes to the show.
