An epic season final. Which one of us didn't cry at this screen? I was like how can a machine make me cry, then ''father...'' and I'm crying like a baby.

Amazing season finale. The second best after season 3. But yet another perfect episode. You are right the seasons get progressively better. Season 3 is winning just by a hair. But the best is still yet to come if you can believe that. Season 5 is shorter but only big episodes there. You are right about the order so far. Spot on what you said. Its a 10 from me for sure. This finale had everything and the way our situation keeps getting worse without a break is truly amazing and unique in TV. Even GOT got better for its main good guys in season 6. Nope. Here it keeps getting worse. Its amazing. I love Elias and Dominic being part of the Samaritab plot. Every dot from the last 4 years is connected. Love the idea of the correction. They killed all the outliers and the people who cause all the trouble a few hundred and they killed them at the same time ALL AROUND THE WORLD. Jesus. My jaw dropped so far when I first saw that scene. The other spy was killed by Root last episode. Broke her neck. I cannot begin to express how amazing that scene with Harold and the Machine was. All done to Pink Floyd's Welcome To The Machine song. Amazing combo of my fav show and band in one scene. Thank you again for an awesome season finale reaction. Part of me wishes you go through season 5 as fast as possible as it is so awesome and so packed. But another part wants your reactions to POI to go on for a long time. How this show was cancelled after only 5 seasons is beyond me. But maybe that's for the best as the quality is high until the end. Looking forward to next season...

I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but during this rewatch I have moved season 4 down on my list, there are some really great episodes but even some of the great ones have some really lazy writing that brings them down for me. Even though I prefer the back half of the series over the first half, I feel like there was a little more quality in some of those early episodes. This is still a great episode despite some of the issues I have with it but its probably on the bottom of my list of favorite finales, I would probably rate them from best to least best as 5,3,2,1,4 they are all great but that's how I rate them. As for whole series I think the best and most consistent stretch of it was from the mid point of season 2 though the mid point of season 4, with season 3 being the best of the series. Still some good stuff to come in season 5 but I think its hampered buy the short season and CBS meddling with it.

There's a lot of slow moments in season 4, but this episode is definitely a memorable one. you're on the final stretch 13 episodes left to go for a shorter, final season, good luck, its a doozy!

s4 ending gets me emotional every time i watch the episode, machine calling Harold father gets me, its crazy to me how they manage to get people emotional over a machine.
