Gotta disagree with you again!! I think Walt does love his family, but I feel he took the course he took with Gabe to save his own ass as well. Jesse was not bluffing. I believe he would have ratted Walt out if he ever got caught

Yes Walt did it on purpose. I can’t help but cringe at Hank beating up Jesse (police brutality) and I don’t think that a closed door would have stopped him.

This episode is obviously a10. I agree Aaron Paul did a great job. From the flashback with the tweens and Hector Salamanca to the unbearable tension in the anticipating the shootout. Everything was just perfect.
