Detective shows are not my thing either but it does have the best vilan i have seen on a super hero type show. Excited for this one.

Best on screen Marvel villain including the movies, imo. Only one I was truly scared of. I love this show!

I don't know if you've seen Luke Cage and Iron Fist already, but I'd watch Jessica Jones season 1, then The Defenders, then Jessica Jones season 2, then Daredevil season 3.

Yay, glad you're doing this one! It's a whole different beast from Daredevil. It's definitely less of an action show, more of a psychological thriller/drama. I think it deals with issues of trauma really, really well. And Kilgrave is the scariest Marvel villain (at least on screen) to date, imo. And yes, Carrie Ann-Moss's character is named Jeri Hogarth.

This show is awesome. Krystin Ritter is amazing as Jessica and the villain is legit very scary. This story asks, what if a big time super hero with amazing powers wasn’t noble like captain America or Superman but rather a profoundly broken female with PTSD that is a drunk and trying to hide from being a hero rather than embracing it. It’s my favorite of these marvel Netflix shows.
