I get what you saying about everything and you’re right vocals weren’t the best but the first two for me were fun to watch and we got to see more Brittany and Santana also the choreography was killer

I enjoyed the episode more than you but i agree the problem with some of the episodes like this one is that they would get the rights to an artists songs like Britney Spears and then do a whole episode just cause they got the rights to the songs and instead of concentrating on making a good episode that has a good story, they would throw together an episode just to feature the songs. They did the same thing with the Madonna episode last season which was more successful and then there is a Michael Jackson episode later this season.

I have mixed feelings about this episode. Brittany isn’t one of my favorite characters, but it was nice to see her get solo this episode even though she’s the weakest singer out of the main six girls. This is also where we start to see Schuester unravel and get really weird and creepy which makes my skin crawl.

Mr. 👞 deserves JAIL for this episode alone....I mean dancing to toxic with that choreo along with your underage students, yikes. This is one of those episodes where if you don’t like the music then you won’t like the episode. The actual storylines in this episode are not good so if you don’t like Brittney then there’s really not much keeping this episode together imo. It is great that we finally got to see Brittany really dance and got another Santana song

Believe it or not, this is a fan favorite episode & so is the Brittany/Santana duet but I totally understand where you’re coming from. Will is probably the most annoying/unlikable character on Glee & I hate when he gets storylines because they just drag on😭 I was also the same way about Wemma, I liked & was invested in them in S1 but by S2 I literally just didn’t give a shit about anything dealing w/ their relationship. All that aside, I personally like this episode minus the Will stuff, it was good to see Brittany do something other than do crazy one liners & actually show off her dancing talent, she’s not my favorite character or vocalist but she was definitely the highlight of this episode.

I'm not a huge fan of this one. I think Brittany is an underrated character but I think it's just my natural dislike for John Stamos.

The beginning of this season seems to drag on for me....but it does get better later. Brittney Spears is not one of my favorites but for what it's worth I think they did a decent job on the songs. Also prepare yourself because Will gets way worse before he gets better

fun fact, the girl you commented on who had the abs, she's in "bring it on: fight to the finish" she's the captain of the rival squad, I remember seeing her abs for the first time on that movie, I was amazed lol!

I'm glad you've picked up on what a terrible teacher/faculty member Schuester is, lol. I didn't love this episode either, tbh. I'm generally not a huge fan of these "artist worship" episodes, though I did enjoy the Madonna one.

The thing I love about this episode are the performances Brittany has because she's the best dancer on the show. As someone who grew up dancing I love seeing great dance performances. I know this is called 'Glee" so it's supposed to be about singing, but I like when we get good dance routines because I think for the most part the dances on the show are pretty basic. I know that not everyone is a dancer and they try and I think Brittany tried singing in this episode and I thought it worked for what it was because Britney Spears doesn't have the hardest vocal range (don't at me haha).

I do agree that Heather Morris is not the strongest vocalist but i did really like her 2 songs in this episode, especially the one with Santana. I thought Heather did a really good job, especially for someone who hadn't really sang before.

I think this episode doesn't show off Brittanys voice personally I think she's better then Tina and I think that once you hear her sing songs in later seasons you'll see that. but I think all the characters in this ep were putting on a Brittany spears voice so it is them singing but def not their real voices.

To be honest, this is one of the weirder episodes that just makes you cringe. the only really good parts are brittany's dancing because she's FIRE. but yeah, i'm not a fan of the story either.

Love Stronger! Favorite Britney song along with Everytime! Personally was disappointed in how they represented the song in the show, but I get that there wasn’t a lot of options as to who received that song. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think it would be a good idea to react to a couple musical movies that glee references heavily or you might get lost. without giving any spoilers those would be rocky horror picture show, west side story, and funny girl. you've said you've watched grease before but that's also referenced. :) love these reactions

Don’t really care for Brittany the singer or glee Brittany lol sorry I really enjoyed schushter singing but don’t really care for his story with emma. John and Emma’s relationship is so awesome though they seem to genuinely like each other lol anyway great reaction :)

Britney Spears is iconic to me. Such nostalgia when I hear her older songs. It’s great that music can make you feel that way, take you back to when you were a kid. Even the homage they paid to her music videos made me feel it. I loved that Brittany used to dance for Britney and watching her dance is incredible, I loved that she got so much spotlight this episode. She killed every song, every dance move, such talent! Slave 4 U and Me Against the Music were the best songs of this episode for sure, I loved how Me Against the Music was basically a Brittana love fest, NEEDED more Brit and Santana content.
