Yes, Boyd was in the picture. Jordan thought he was taking care of the whole situation. Alex would be dead and couldn't talk and Dex and Lumen would be caught red handed. There would be no evidence he did anything.

Wow. So, yeah, I'm probably going to get shit for this but...yeah, you were right that the whole potential skipping thing was upsetting. I mean, I admit to loving the Dexter/Lumen pairing, but I'm honestly not upset that you don't. Unfortunately, trying to keep things spoiler-free for reactors means we often have to stay silent in regards to explanations/convos about certain elements that happened when the shows were at their peaks. I, personally, feel like you're not connecting, quite, with just how traumatized Lumen was, and how having feelings for Dexter (and expressing them sexually, in that quiet scene) would be so significant. Despite that, though, or really even your preferences about pairings or predictability or what have you (though I will say, when you narrow so deeply on something predictable, you end up losing a lot of nuance), I mostly just think it's important to...you know...pay attention to the show. Respectfully, it's distracting and disappointing for a lot of us otherwise. (Please don't kill me everyone. Lol.)

I didn't consider it a sex scene (Lila - those were sex scenes), as much as an old fashioned love scene. Lumen has just killed and this sort of releases her to be alive again. Dexter would NEVER make the first move because of the trauma she has experienced. She has his arms bound so that she can sort her feelings about being ready for this. No words were even necessary. It was so beautifully acted with just face acting! He looks at her as if to say - Are you sure? I don't want to hurt you. She "says" I'm sure. But he is still so gentle. I think its a beautiful scene. "In her eyes, I'm not a monster at all". I gave it a 10. One of my favorites.

He couldn't just scratch Lumen's disc. He would have had to remove it and risk Masuka finding one missing before he could put it back.

Great reaction, this one is a 10 for me, also yes Emily Birch was telling the truth, she even said so in the conversation with Jordan, she Elsa is “I told the truth even though it was hard, like you told me to”, and I thought the outfit part was silly too
