We are here, season one finale!!! I'm not gonna lie, first time I saw this episode, I got very emotional. When I heard Vocal Adrenaline do Bohemian Rhapsody, it was already over for my crew New Directions. Now I think if it were just about the vocals, I'd be for ND all the way, but when it comes to choreography, VA knocked it out of the park. I'm so excited for you to get to season two, it's my favorite season.

I’m so excited for you to Start season 2. It’s all around amazing probably my favorite.

If you ever want to react to an amazing "musical" movie you should check out Moulin Rouge. One of my all time favorites.

SweetSummit

I rewatch a lot of Glee performances on YouTube when I'm feeling a bit down to cheer me up, and the Journey medley is top three for me. It's a rollercoaster of emotions. I love it.

That's really cool that you're more interested in musicals because of this show, you should watch Dreamgirls, I think Mercedes has already sung a song from it and they sing another one next season? Also Amber, who plays Mercedes played one of the characters on broadway (? idk the difference between "broadway" and the "the west end" jfksjd)

I think the choreography is really what put Vocal Adrenaline over the top. Though Groff's vocals on a notoriously difficult song like "Bohemian Rhapsody" were fantastic, imo. But then I just love it whenever they do Queen, so I'm probably biased. Lovely to see you becoming a fan of musicals. It's really a special genre that gets a lot of undue flack, imo. My favorite movie musicals I'd recommend checking out if you're looking to watch more: Singin' In The Rain West Side Story Mary Poppins Little Shop of Horrors Moulin Rouge Chicago Enchanted Newsies (the stage version recorded just like Hamilton is also up on Disney+) Any Disney musical of the Disney Renaissance from 1989-1998

Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, Chicago, Sweeney Todd, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Little Shop of Horrors are a few of my favorite movie musicals. I also saw Young Frankenstein the Musical on the stage a few years ago and it was awesome (the 1974 Mel Brooks movie was one of my favorites as a kid, we watched it a lot because my dad loved it).

HookedOnSwans

My absolute favourite musical is Moulin Rouge, but like others here I would also suggest Rocky Horror Picture Show, Chicago, Sweeney Todd, Les Misèrables, the Sound of Music, and the Wizard of Oz ☺️

Another one of my favorite movie musicals is Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks staring Angela Lansbury, but I feel like it’s so under-appreciated and overlooked 😭.

Aaron Lopez

a episode dedicated to Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming up very soon!! I’d suggest watching it so your not lost 😖

Liv Heskett

David obviously we dont know you personally but i think se can honestly we saw you going through your journey of opening up and be invested in the entire season. I mean you went from humming and moving your shoulders to full on dancing, you went from coments here and there being careful to full on arguments with the screen 🤣! Anyway im so glad you are enjoying this show and be assured that we gleeks here in Patreon and YouTube appreciate it very much! ✌🏻

So behind as I am binging through to catch up to you, but I wanted to add that I love Vocal Adrenaline's Bohemian Rhapsody. Not because they did it well, which they did, but what the show did with it. I have seen a lot of reactions to the song where people laugh. It's a joke. I cry every time. Just below sob level. I feel about Quinn, like David feels about Kurt. Not that I don't also LOVE Kurt, but Quinn may be a royal pain in the butt, but it is what she has been made. You see a glimmer of her true, softer side when she is down at her lowest. And here is this poor kid... she is a kid... having a kid herself. Yes, she made the choice to put herself in that position, but how many stupid mistakes did we all make at that age. And watching this song as she is going through the most painful moments a woman may ever have to experience is heart wrenching. And to watch it with that witch of a mother she has by her side. A woman that couldn't be bothered to be with her child until she didn't have a husband to tell her no. Only when she was alone did she bother to go back to Quinn. I feel for her. The song makes me ugly cry. I love it.
