When I first saw this episode, I did not care for it very much, it started out with a wonderful premise, but it showed how tone-deaf America was and now everyone can see why. At the time my complaints about this episode were seen as nit-picking. Here we are 12 years later.

Huh... as someone that has never been married, I'm kind of surprised at the idea of being *mad* at someone that spends hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money to try to make me happy. I can't even begin to imagine the level of self importance I'd need to have to determine I have control over someone else's hard earned money, especially when they're doing something for my benefit.
