There *was* an end credit scene if I recall but it wasn't important to the plot or anything. It was just a little funny thing thrown in at the end.

Carrie Bishop was played on the show by Leighton Meester (season 1 episode 14 and 21) who later became the Queen B on Gossip Girl (where Kristen voiced GG for all six seasons). Here in the flashbacks, she's played by Andrea Estella.

"Your boobs look bigger". This was an injoke because Kristen had recently given birth and her boobs actually were bigger for natural reasons. Also Kristen and the guy who plays Dick (Ryan Hansen) are really good friends, they lived together platonically for a while. And it was his birthday yesterday (July 5, 1981)

Great reaction. Glad you loved the movie. It was leagues better than Season 3 definitely. In my opinion Season 4 continues this trend (mostly). It was a very fanservice-y movie and i loved it. And no need to say you shouldn't love that scene , it was great. Seeing everyone join in, it was fun... Also you're right about the no closure, but maybe they answered these things in the 2 novels that come after the movie (i have not read them, maybe someone who has can write a small description of the plot). Really looking forward to season 4.

There are two follow-up novels, both written by the creator of the show (Rob Thomas). Called "The Thousand Dollar Tan Line" and "Mr. Kiss and Tell". Both are also available as audio book. The actor who plays Cobb is new to VM, but is from the Rob Thomas created show Party Down. Which is how he got the gig. Rob likes to reuse his actors much like Joss does. I assume it was Kristen who got Jamie Lee Curtis onboard since they played mother and daughter on the movie You Again. And the hedge fund guy from the bar was also in that movie.

As has been mentioned previously, there are two books that are more direct follow ups to the movie, I don't think you necessarily need to read them before you watch season 4 but if you want as many details as possible it might be a good idea to do so

I do want to warn you, the movie was very much made for the fans, season 4 is made essentially for Rob Thomas. By that I mean for the movie he was very careful to do things that he knew the fans would enjoy since they paid for it and for season 4 he just wrote the story he wanted to tell. And I do agree that the movie looks amazing. season 4 looks nice enough but for me misses that noir vibe that the movie nailed and the first 3 seasons flirted with.

The movie was only meant to be 1 part, the Kickstarter was for $2 mil and we raised $5 mil so they could get more guest stars and better quality. Rewatching this now, it still brings so many smiles, complete fan service but we earned it

I saw it opening night and the theater was wild. Cheering, gasping, etc and a round of applause at the end. It was a lot of fun. I know I’m in the minority but I like Veronica’s chemistry with Leo the best (better than Logan and Piz). I like all 3 characters but I just like the dynamic with Veronica and Leo the best.

Something very fun that I find worth checking out is that the cast did a web series around the time that they filmed the movie called, “play it again, Dick” where Ryan Hanson is pitching his Dick Casablancas spin-off. Almost the whole Veronica Mars cast participants (and some of the cast of Rob Thomas’s newest show, iZombie), there are 8 episodes that are all under 10 minutes each and its laugh out loud hilarious. I wouldn’t even mind seeing you react to it. It’s really silly.
