when do you think that song came out?

to think this could have been the final stretch of episodes to the series, crazy how long this show goes on for and still keeps bringing in new ideas and stuff. I haven't seen the middle chunk of the series in a long time so it'll be neat to relive with Steven. Very curious to his thoughts on the rest of the season and Season 6 since its such a mixed bag at first before you realize what's going on.

Not sure if you remember from Season 3's "Dream a Little Dream of Me", but Dean actually dreamed about Lisa (we see her at a picnic inviting Dean over). So she's always been on his mind.

So the next episode is the official 100th of the series, hence the title of this one. And it's arguably one of the best of the series. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the season with you.

Yea Lisa has alway's been on Dean's mind and he wants a life with her; she represents what Sam had with Jessica. Dean just never dwells on romance and real connections because to him, he has already chosen this life and he knows what it is to lead the life of a hunter and no romance is a part of that.

I love Dean. I really do, but throughout this season, he's driven me crazy. Especially in this episode. I get that Dean has lost all hope and lost his faith in God and in his brother, which I still hate in spite of Sam's mistakes. But for him to continuously treat Sam so cruelly and then just run off and give up on him after everything so he can give himself over to Michael... it's wrong and I really can't stand his character throughout most of this season. As for the concept of the Whore of Babylon dragging as many souls down to Hell throughout this small town... I really do enjoy it. It's an interesting idea and this episode overall was done really well. And while I really, really hate seeing every day people and fictional characters within shows and movies get any level of drunk, because I don't find it funny or smart whatsoever... if a character within a show or movie is written well and a scene with them being drunk is done well, they can be funny. And in this episode, seeing Castiel drunk is one of those rare circumstances that I do find to be funny because it's so out of character for him, and he wasn't obnoxiously funny. It's all thanks to Misha Collins, who plays Castiel so brilliantly. No matter what condition he might be in. :)

I've always disliked Lisa and thought she pops up randomly

I love dean. and I know he loves Sam more than anything, but I seriously can't stand the way he treats him here.

WHOA. This was a trippy flip I did not see coming. Dean had already made the decision to say Yes to Michael and so he was able to kill the WoB. I'm guessing he made that mental decision at some point last episode, and that's why he tossed his necklace in the garbage. He's distancing himself from Sam. And now he's saying his goodbyes. This is so crazy! All this season it had been Dean who was so concerned/sure that Sam would be the one to give in and say Yes, but now Sam is the only one still fighting. Love these twists!

This is the 99th episode of Supernatural, so they titled in 99 Problems. Given how little we have seen of Lisa, the writers and actors all did a great job to create that believable connection. The tear Lisa cries when she realizes Dean is saying goodbye, and his hesitance to pull away from the kiss to her temple. My heart aches for both of them.
