This is a favourite episode, and Luke and loreleis fight at the end is fabolous! i think Rory snaped when they got Busted and the headmaster was telling them it might effect their future. And I like that Rory sits and reads at lunch, seems amazing to me!but I get what you’re saying, but I like that she isn’t that social, some people are likethat!

This is the problem with this show - people idolize Rory so much that when she does something "wrong" or "out of character", they are super surprised.

I love you reactions but you sometimes are so inattentive. Luke was so messing with Lorelai, didn’t you see the big grin on his face there at the end? Yes, he was so justified to tell Lore off for telling him what to do or not to do, but he was just messing with her. As for Rory, I think she was totally justified for the outburst, I mean she was accused of being unsocial when they don’t even know her, She is SO NOT a loner, she is very social, and contrary to what you say, she has many friends. The whole town are her friends, sort of, she socializes there all the time with all of them, she participates in the town events, she does all sorts of stuff, and like she says, it’s just away from that stuck up school...

100% on Rory's side here. I'm a reserved person too. At work, during lunch time, I prefer to sit alone, take my time with my lunch, watch a show I like and listen to music. It's my alone time. Gives me a break from all the hectic stuff that happens in between. I feel like Rory is like that. And she really needs it when she's got Paris and Tristan to deal with. It's unfair of the school to say that she's antisocial when she just wants to spend lunch hour reading and listening to music. It's her right to do that. She joins the school paper. She interacts in class. And she took that big step picking a random table and making small talk. I'm too shy so I'd never be that brave. Then she gets penalized for it when she definitely didn't know what Francie was up to. I was cheering her on during her ranting speech.
