Yay 12 Monkeys! One of my favorite series and only 4 seasons.

12 Monkeys is one of my favorite time travel shows of all time. It's similar to the movie in general premise but it diverges to adapt to the long-form serialized tv format. I enjoyed the time travel shenanigans of the show a lot and they get real trippy the further it goes on which I enjoyed. It's one of the rare shows where I genuinely love all of the main characters and I'm deeply invested in their journeys. And it's beautifully shot and directed. I watched this one after Nikita too and this is the show that made me really appreciate Aaron Stanford as an actor. I enjoyed him as Birkhoff, of course, but I absolutely ADORE him as Cole. He gives an amazing performance over the course of this show. It's a good show for reactions, I think, so if you did pick it up, I think you'd have a great time. It has a small but very dedicated fanbase. We kept the show going for four seasons and the show had enough of a headsup to prepare for the ending rather than get canceled and leave the story unresolved.

thank you for that reaction! i knew you’d like it! the showrunners were writers on nikita too hence the actors being on both shows. it is based on a similar concept then the movie but has huge differences as well the further you go in the series. the writing on this show is phenomenal and every moment feels earned. the characters are complex and work well together as you’d see if you like to continue. thanks again! :)

This is a great Sci-Fi show definitely one of my favorites. The story is so intriguing. I didn't realize you had done a reaction to this show. Sad that you haven't continued it.
