Erik Kripke the dude who created the show & wrote so many of the episodes who also has a real like for creepy kids said "he was surprised to that drowning the kid in the car scene past the censors for the CW bc at that time things that just weren't making past the censors " but our little show was largely ignored by the powers that be at first and then Supernatural got a little more popular and kept letting the writers get away with pushing things you'll see!!😳

Changelings are just creepy and terrifying. This was just an okay episode overall. I was definitely more interested in Sam's side storyline between him and the demon, the mystery behind who she really is, what happened to his mother's friends, and the mystery behind why all of their deaths are because of what Yellow Eyes did to Sam. Thank you very much for your reaction! Until next time...

Wow - most of the fandom adore the Dean/Ben interaction, and it's one of their favourite things. I fall into that camp - I love them, and I love that Dean is actually disappointed that Ben isn't his (if you believe Lisa *conspiracy theory*). So it's a shame that you didn't like this as much. So I think this is a pretty good episode. Love Dean/Ben (and Lisa, I guess, who seems very nice) and the the children are very creepy. Plus we have Sam's demon pal, which is quite interesting.

This episode is not high on my list but it's not bad. We got some information on the woman following Sam so that was interesting. She was kind of evasive about why she wants to help Sam, so I'm thinking that will be a slow reveal. I'm not a big fan of the actress that plays her, but we'll see where it goes. Hey if she can help Dean maybe it's worth whatever her price is. Very Dean heavy episode and I really liked Lisa, they had good chemistry. The Changlings were very creepy, nothing like little monster kids to freak a person out.

I thought this episode was just ok. The highlights for me were Dean's facial expressions when he put 2+2 together after talking to Ben by the MoonBounce and when Lisa busted him for telling Ben to hit the bully. I don't think I'd bother having my husband watch this episode (I'm re-watching these with him). I didn't bother having him watch 'Bugs' in season 1 and 'The Usual Suspects' in season 2. After finishing this season with you, this episode might join them in the 'don't bother' file.

This episode is a guilty pleasure for me. I really don't care for the monster in this one, but I like everything else around it. I actually did like the potential offspring of Dean aspect of this episode. I thought it was fun, and actually touched on something that should be an issue for these guys. They're traveling around the country, and they aren't being monks. Potential is there. I find it nice to think about. Little Sam and Deans running around out there. That whole story line was just straight out fun in this episode, so I liked it.

Ben IS Dean’s kid, Lisa LIED. That’s my headcanon and I will not give it up 😉. I’m sorry you weren’t into it, that’s my favorite part of the episode (but then, I love anytime we get to see one of the boys with kids. It melts my heart.). || I have a really hard time with watching the mother attempt to drown the kid. There was a huge case here when I was much younger, where a woman actually did that exact thing; strapped her two very young sons into their car seats and allowed her car to roll down a ramp into a lake. I was shocked to see a scene like that on the CW. I thought the actress did a really good job of portraying a person slowly losing it. I felt really bad for her. || I really didn’t care for Laurel (on Arrow) either. I thought they really messed up her character - made her come off as whiny and nagging. I enjoy Katie in this role though. She has talked about Jared unscrewing the top of the salt shaker before their scene in the diner, so that it dumped out all over the fries. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 || Glad you enjoyed it. See you next time. XXOO

I am also in the camp that believes Ben is Dean's son and that Lisa lied. Her original reaction to when Dean asked her about it made me think she is lying and then at the end when they discuss it again and she says the dad is some random guy, she gives another strange look after Dean looks disappointed. But I guess its just speculation and what we want to believe.
