Surprised to hear people were defending the fart jokes... everyone I've spoken to is totally against them. As for the blind loyalty thing, yeah, just with every show there are people that swear by their favorites. However I'd say 90% of the fandom is level-headed and can admit when the show falls flat. As for this episode, I didn't mind it, but it wasn't a standout for me. People generally say S1 & 2 are the seasons where the show is still finding it's footing while on a very small budget, so it's not often you hear people proclaim them as their favourites (although some people are blinded by nostalgia, or just genuinely think it's one of the best seasons to date... TV is weird like that lol, everyone has such varied opinions). I find S1 charming, with a handful of standouts, but I don't blame you for being confused at peoples responses. Looking forward to seeing how your opinions change over time (on both the current episodes you're watching in the future, and when you think back to these episodes). :)

I'm actually very nervous becuase I know that the Doctor will change and I really like this Doctor. I dont know how many seasons he is in the show and PLEASE NO BODY TELL ME, I'm just worried because I dont know what to expect from the other doctors. I just know that this Episode made me really love the Relationship they have.

Thanks to whoever bought the bonus content. As for comments about loyalty, yes, there's a hardcore community that spend an awful lot of time debating which seasons are better, who's the best Doctor but most fans are level headed. I think it's why the show enjoys such longevity because it's able to refresh itself and enjoys a diverse range of views along the way. In terms of being too nice, I think you're probably the most critical reactor I watch but in a good way. There are a few that seem to me to always try their best to be super positive. It's like they're too scared to be critical in case they annoy the audience. You're happy to offer a reasonable critique. There's nothing wrong with enjoying the show, it is a good one! :)
