Wyatt Earp is the most famous US marshall in history. The movie Tombstone chronicles his war with a group of outlaws and did a great job of depicting his friendship with Doc Holliday who was a famous gambler and one of the deadliest gunslingers in history. Famously Wyatt Earp for all the time he spent as the Sheriff of Dodge City and all the gun fights he was involved in, including the shoot out at the OK Corral, he was never hit with a bullet.

If you want to see a modern gunslinger type show I would suggest "Justified" on Amazon Prime.
