I was so proud of Charlie and Nick this episode, defending themselves against people who were supposed to love them 😭 both scenes were so powerful and inspiring. I'm so glad the show made Charlie not forgive Ben, it just shows that not everyone deserves it depending on how bad they treated the other person. It was obvious that he just wanted to feel better about himself like Charlie said. He didn't even seem like he wanted to be a better person. I really wanted to see more from Nick's dad as well. I understand being caught off guard by someone coming out to you, especially if you had no idea. I just wish they had a scene after the dinner party where he apologized to Nick and told him how proud he was of him coming out to him, which was very brave especially after how Nick's brother was treating him in front of everyone trying to push him out of the closet. Great reaction!!
