I never understood how Damon knew where Elena was when he found her. I'm more of a Stefan girl, but it was nice to see Damon's nice side this episode. He can be annoying and very childish to me most times 😭 Damon just wanted to spend time with Elena and get her to have fun, that was the purpose of him taking her away. That guy coming to torture/kill Damon was well deserved, I'm still upset at him for killing Lexi. She was such a great character and I loved her friendship with Stefan. Also Damon killing Bree was messed up, I kind of understood why she called that man since that was Lexi's boyfriend and her friend. If the situation was reversed Damon would have done the same thing, tried to avenge someone that hurt or killed someone he was close with. I loved the scenes between Stefan and Elena, Stefan and Bonnie and even Stefan and grams. The Stefan and Grams scenes were so cute to me, the respect Stefan has for people makes me like him so much.

Stephens lie was a lie of omission. He withheld important information from Elena which in my opinion should have been revealed way before getting so close and intimate. The ending of last episode where Elena stormed out after seeing a photo of Katherine..I totally get it. It happened right after their first time sleeping together, which just added salt to the wound that he kept something so big from her. If I were Elena, I'd consider same possibilities.. am I just a replacement for Katherine?? Is he with me just because I look like her? she knows Katherine was such a huge love for both brothers, and her photo is casually on his table as if he's regularly looking at it longingly...why do we look identical? Why he never told me??..I'd have the exact same freakout as Elena xD discovery of vampires and witches being real isn't as disturbing as this

Chiming in on something that was nearly posted two months ago… lol But if you think about it, Stefan not telling Elena that his ancient ex-vampire girlfriend has her face is INSANE lol Could you imagine that you’re dating someone, and learn that he’s a vampire and that his brother is a vampire and that the woman they were both with was a vampire and that woman has YOUR FACE? of course, you would begin questioning everything about the relationship because Elena logically assumes that he only entered a relationship with her because she looks like his ex! Even without all the supernatural stuff, that would be WILD to discover. Also, after they have sex, Stefan literally tells Elena that everything in his room was something worth remembering/keeping. He could have easily thrown away that pamphlet after he started dating Elena but he kept it. It’s not wild for Elena to think that everything he’s been doing with her has just been a way for him to replace Katherine. Also, what Stefan did was heroic and he framed it all nice and dandy, but I always thought it was a little off-putting that he quite literally stalked her. I get it was to prove that she was not Katherine but I would be soooo weirded out if I found out that my boyfriend was watching me for months before he met me. The show doesn’t give an explanation for how Damon found her, but after Logan’s death, I would assume he was still trying to track down the vampire that turned him OR he was still by Fells Church and heard the accident. But yeah, Damon just wanted company on his road trip and probably a buffer. He clearly liked the idea of rescuing her and thought it would be cool to just have her around for the day.
