i read the book awhile ago and actually really loved it. the age difference was a bit wild and i wish the author had aged him up a bit more, but i loved the idea of a woman in her 40s finding love and having a grand romance. a lot of people mistakenly think this is a harry styles fanfic which it never was. the author took inspiration from several people that included harry styles, her ex, her husband, and some other big names. but it isn't meant to be specifically harry, not like hardin scott in the after movies was. also the ending of the movie is very different from that of the book and i actually prefer the book. the book was something so unique in so many ways. it wasn't the typical happily ever after. and i think more stories like that are needed. so long as all the characters are the appropriate ages lol
