I love Bobby and Michael's friendship. That moment was obviously a low point, but I think it needed to happen. There's insecurity on both ends, Michael is terrified of being replaced and Bobby is terrified of not being good enough for the kids. But Michael came and apologised and they talked it out and I just love it. Their friendship is so special to me... As much as it hurts, I think it was the right call for Maddie and Chimney to take a break. It could be SO dangerous for them to start their relationship here. They need to heal from their shared trauma separately before they can heal together. We don't want a trauma bond being formed... So I think it was very mature for them to decide to step back from each other for a bit. It sucks, because they clearly care about each other so much, and it almost feels like Doug is winning. But at the same time, it doesn't. It also feels like they're truly putting their healing first and wanting to be able to actually be good for each other. So yeah, it hurts a lot, but I also kinda love it. I love Chim helping out from home though! And calling Tommy in for back up! (In case you didn't put it together, he's the guy Chim saved in Chimney Begins. It seemed like you knew who he was talking to though... But just in case...)
