lol I see we’re going to need weekly vampire lessons! Yes, it’s always a stake in the heart. I don’t watch Buffy or angel, so I’m not big on that lore, but I sort of always assumed that a stake to the heart was just general vampire lore on how to kill one. That’s why Damon said “you missed” because it has to be in the heart. And Damon saved his life a few episodes earlier. And Bonnie showed Elena that she was a witch in the purest and most innocent way possible. It was like watching a magic trick. Being a vampire means you are dead and powerful and dangerous, but being a witch I think is a much easier pill to swallow. So, it makes sense that Elena was freaked out. Not to mention, it’s not like it’s something that Bonnie was keeping from her or lying to her about. Killing Lexi was soooooo wrong on Damon’s part. I get the diabolical plan and Lexi was someone new to town, but to kill your brother’s best friend as a part of a plan is crazy.
