Finally, someone sees it the way I do. I really like Smallville and I believe this show would've been epic if not for some of the dumb choice the writers made. And on Clark, I disliked his character since the end of season 3. The decisions he makes are so dumb. He destroyed a potentially good relationship with Lana which eventually destroyed her character. He got his parents baby killed, he got his father killed. He disobeyed Jor-el at every turn which always ended bad. Partially his fault Lex turned bad. And I could go on. And I just couldn't understand how people didn't see that he is the problem. His decisions are trash, same outcomes on repeat, no character growth for 9 seasons.

He didn't tell her because future Clark didn't know that she wouldn't remember. The whole point was for her to remember what happened to her in the future so that she could go to the past and stop it from happening.

I agree about Clark, I love this show, so much, but I HATE Clark and his hypocrisies and outright horrible choices! I know in the comics Lex is bad, so he had to turn at some point, but in this universe, his change is 100% Clark's fault. Clark acts like no one is allowed to keep any secrets from him and if they do he demands to know or puts his nose into their business until he discovers it. And yet, he keeps his secrets and lies to everyone and when someone asks or tries to look into him he treats them like the worst villainous traitor he ever met. Then there is the way he portrays his birth father as a monstrous villain (along with every Kryptonian he has ever met, which has not been alot) based on an artificial program sent with him by his dead father he never met. So many more examples this could just run on forever...
