Clearly 3 will be/is the most popular for obvious reasons. But I think 2 is a more realistic POV perspective.

Yeah. I think so. The first shows how much due to the convexity of the eye a person sees. The second is a more realistic but not wide enough. :( Provided that the camera is always in one place, at eye level.
