Barbatos Hip Piece Breakdown (Patreon)

Alright yall I have a hefty content drop for yall today. I've been EXTREMELY busy and in my multitasking madness, I some how ended getting all my patreon content for the month done at the same time instead of paced out throughout the month. lets gooooooo~

The hip piece was pretty simple. To make the grooves in the hip piece, I used a wood burner, same as with the little gold bracelet, on lines I had carefully measured to be sure they would all line up. The foam is covered in 4 way stretch fabric using contact cement and the dry adhere method. On the front points of the hip piece, I glued rare earth magnets. To keep it on, I place two more magnets under my shorts where the points of the hip piece will fall to hold it to my shorts and keep it up. The tail feathers are hand sewn to the underside of the hip piece. It's a pretty straight forward piece, but let me know if you have any questions about it!
