Yall I swear I thought I already posted this?? LOL WOOPS SORRY.

So the first part of making the gloves was pretty simple. I used an existing glove pattern and altered the hand bit to just cover the top of my hand. To make the magical seamless finger bit and hand, I lined the hand of the glove with a facing leaving the sides of the finger ring unsewn so that when I turned the glove eight-sided out, I could slide one end of the finger ring into the other and top stitch it closed.

I uploaded an entire separate video describing how I made the diamonds a few weeks back, so please search my Venti tag for that explanation.

To keep the zig zag at the top of the gloves from curling out and flopping over, I carefully hand sewed a band of nude mesh to the facing on the inside of the gloves up and down the zigzags. The mesh is barely visible and give the zig zags the structure they need to  not flop and curl on in a harlequin looking way.

I started patterning these gloves a few months back. Since then, my biceps have grown significantly in size, so I had to sew in a bicep gusset. It's a triangular piece in the back.

To make the wrist cuff on Venti's right arm, I interfaced both the outside layer with the diamonds and the lining to give it lots of structure. I wanted the cuff to look absolutely seamless but still fit snug to my wrist, so I sewed an invisible zipper sandwiching it between the outside layer and the lining and extended the zipper a little past the end of the cuff so that I could hide the zipper pull under the gold bracelet.

The bracelet I made out of craft foam. I used a flat head on a wood burner to burn the grooves into it and covered the foam in gold spandex using contact cement and the dry adhere method. For a closure, I used small rare earth industrial magnets that I fit flush to the two edges of the bracelet by gluing them into indents I burned out with the wood burner. I then hand sewed the cuff to the bracelet. The cuff slides over my wrist and zip down towards the bracelet. The cuff then magnetizes closed over the pull of the zipper, creating a magical looking seamless cuff and bracelet that fit nice and snug to my wrist.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions at all!
