Brooch experiments Part 2 (Patreon)

Had to soak the brooch in acetone and start over. This time, I popped the gem out first. I'm redoing the gold leaf around the boarder. You're supposed to used a special type of glue to adhere gold leaf butt I'm just using modge podge. If I we're adding gold leaf to something large or really important, I would use the good stuff. Anyway, here's an example of the gold leaf vs. gold paint.
