No spoilers from me in this little blurb here, but WOW. WOW. WOW. Didn't see this coming AT ALL 🤣

Just when I think things are going to be okay at least with some people... well, there goes the rug from under my feet!

I rather like how in this episode the "bad guy" isn't a monster, but someone _hunting_ a monster. Oz turning into a werewolf is a pretty obvious metaphor for the changes we go through during puberty. This is one of the things the show does so well: taking real issues of young people and making them larger than life by throwing in a supernatural metaphor.

I didn't link Oz's puberty changes to the werewolf but now that I think about it, it does make sense! This is all new to him, and I can totally see how the change is happening now as he is maturing. Great catch! Thank you for letting me know!!

The primary reason why Buffy stayed so popular for so long is that from start to end it never failed to defy expectations, and this episode does it so well. I know you are not doing too many movies, but your reaction to this episode reminded me of an excellent movie, An American Werewolf in London. Sure, it's a werewolf movie, but it, too has great humor and romance and a defiance of expectations. It could easily have been made into an episode of Buffy.

Okay, Juliette, I'm listening to your thoughts at the start of this one, and I had to stop where you guessed that Spike and Buffy would try to stop Angel. Holy crap. How the... How did you do that? How'd you call the Spike and Buffy teamup?! Thou art a witch. Dru would be proud of your precognitive powers. LOL All right, seriously, I love this episode, and I can't wait to watch.

And now that I'm finished... "I love Willow and Oz. I adore them so much." Juliette *giggles* I'm guessing by now you've learned your lesson. In the Buffyverse, we can't have nice things.
