I adore this episode!! It's so nice to get to see more of Wesley and I love how awesome he was here. The music in this episode really got me going - I love the little instruments they used, which instantly says to me "Something FUN is about to happen" and I wasn't disappointed!

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter break. I'm taking 3 days off this week and next week to relax, recharge and spend time with family. There won't be any breaks between uploads though, Angel, Buffy and Who are still on track! I might be a bit slower with X Files until I am off my break though. I'm about to go and edit the next Angel episode now, so I'd better get to it!

Have a wonderful day 🥰

Juliette, your spell checker (maybe?) did you wrong on the title of the episode ... 'Guise Will Be Guise' (I.e. 'Guys Will Be Guys' or 'Deception Will Be Deception'). 😁 We did see a hint of competent Wesley in the season one episode 'The Ring' when he is looking for Angel at the bookie's place and forces Angel's location from the bookie with his mini-crossbow.

The fake shaman or whatever was actually very insightful about who Angel is truly. Just like Wes was using an Angel disguise Angel himself is a disguise that he has formed over all these centuries after gaining a soul. Remember how he was in 2x2 flashbacks. Uncaring about humans and keeping to himself. The caring and being a hero to the people had to be formed with the help of people around him and was not inherit with getting a soul.
