SPECIAL UPDATE June/July (Patreon)

Hey everybody!
I felt like it's important to give you all this short update on my current work schedule this late June -

The summer heat has MASSIVELY effected my working routine and the amount of time I can spend on PC. We have NEVER had a June THIS sunny and HOT before. Photoshop takes the most amount of GB when running, heating up the PC over time the longer I work - but with the additional heat coming from the outside, my PC now quickly begins to lag and heat up my room in a way its unbearable to work or I am downright unable to due to not wanting to damage my PC.

I have to mention this, since most of my Patrons come from the US:
German households do NOT have build-in air-conditioning. We have ONE small fan at best and ususally just open the windows to let in fresh air, but in this case tHERE IS NONE so we just have to endure the heat. WHY we don't have air-conditioning, I can't explain y'all. There's multiple reasons for it that'd be too long to list, but it's just not a thing here, only in grocery stores ect. :'D

SO with that being said and with how limited I am right now, I decided it's best to focus on traditional art in the meantime. I'll basically return to my roots for July by doing nature art! I've already started by sketching the community garden I've recently become a part of :D It's an absolute PARADISE for birds and insects and I've been taking a lot of pictures for my book research!

I'll also be drawing my Gardendragons more, like the most recent post I uploaded. I hope you guys won't be too sad that I can't work much on the comics right now. I'm limiting my PC-usage now for finishing a commission I recently took. Drawing on PC REALLY isn't any fun right now when your brain turns into mush from the heat and your arms start sticking to the tablet 😖😩

BUT HEY, If you guys like DRAGONS I'm sure you'll have a good time with my content for July as well :D 

Also I wanted to give a special shout-out to those of you who joined my latest stream on Youtube: Thank you SO MUCH to all of you who helped me cover my recent medical bill by donating!! Doing your paid sketch requests was a lot of fun and we had such a colorful variety of requests in the end like never before :DD Thanks a ton!!!

Another GOOD NEWS:
ALL FIO & TIKA BOOKS ON AMAZON GOT SOLD OUT IN JUST 3 DAYS!!!!
...and then a week passed and amazon had ordered more. I do NOT KNOW where they got these books from. I know for a fact that the stache at my old publishing house is EMPTY, so they must've gotten them from another retailer. NEVERTHELESS I will contact my publisher next week to get rid of the e-book offer. And I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who bought a copy!!! I have no idea how amazon still managed to stock up on these books, but they'll be gone eventually too, they don't get reprinted anymore after all.

OH and one important thing to note:
I will be on a short vacation from June 30th till July the 3th! I'll be celebrating my birthday in Amsterdamm :D Turning 27 on the first of July HECK YEAH! This will be the first vacation of the year and it's MUCH NEEDED, I'm so excited!!! I've been meaning to go back to Amsterdamm for AGES, the last time I visited was as a teen around 9 years ago and I loved that weekend trip SO MUCH :D
It's also gonna be a late birthday gift for my mom, since she's always wanted to visit the Van Gogh Museum 👀 Very much looking forward to seeing it!

The summer heat will pass eventually and then I'll be able to work on ALL my shenanigans again. Looking forward to it!
