Snowfeather Ancestor Dragon - early concept (Patreon)

I stumbled over a song called "Fairytale" by Gainsworth that quickly inspired me to draw this dragon. 

It's supposed to be the original Ancestor of the Snowdrop Dragons: 

I've been playing with the thought of designing the original ancestors of my gardendragon species for a while - Since they're all canonically descendants of the last dragons on earth that refused to leave this realm when humans became too much of a threat to their existence, it only makes sense to try my hands on designing at least one of the original dragons.

Since Snowdrop Dragons are nomadic, I'd imagine they'd return to the homeland of their ancestors in Summer, close to the Arctic, up in Greenland. 

Legends says that the grand Ice dragon gave life to Snowflakes with their breath and turned them into the first Snowfeathers. It then asked its oldest friend, the Snowdrops, to take care of its children. Another legend says the Ice dragon made the Snowdrops give birth to its children with their breath, making the snow-white buds turn into dragons.

The Snowfeathers believe the Ice dragons body lies inside a cave underneath greenland's hills. Its soul has long left its body and turned into the North Star to guide its children back home to safety.
