Monthly Schedule - October (Patreon)

HELLO EVERYONE
It's October!!
A BIG month with BIG PLANS and I am very nervous and excited for what's to come...

As previously mentioned, I will attend this years Frankfurter Bookfair as a regular visitor. No booth, just me trying to make contacts and pitch my concept to attending publishing houses.
I'll be going on the 20th and stay for the 21th of October too.

I've NEVER been to this bookfair before so there is A LOT to prepare. I need to get this right. Create a good concept pitch for the entire series on paper, write Exposés for each individual book, make sure I got enough visual material on hand to show and of course update my website and socials too for potential onlookers when I give out my business cards.

So yeah LOTS TO DO

BUT I'll also continue animating as per usual since I think I would go insane if I only focus on my books all day...

Now, here is something interesting for future Patrons but also old ones who might have to pause their subscription at some point:

Patreon has introduced "Subscription Billing" and as of today, I have officially switched to this payment method!

What does this mean?

• Subscription Billing means that, instead of being charged on the first of each Month, new Patrons will be charged on the day they joined and then monthly on the same date, so if somebody joined on the 10th, they'd be charged next month on the 10th again! Old Patrons won't experience any changes and will continue to be charged on the first each month.
• So in short this means NO MORE RISKS of being DOUBLE-CHARGED! And it ALSO means I am free to advertise my Patreon ALL MONTH instead of just the first two weeks!! People can join WHENEVER and be charged on that same date the next month, the way a subscription should work! :DD

So yeah, after a longer time of evaluating the Pros and Cons, I think there are no actual downsides to this, so I've adapted the new payment method and I hope it will drive more people to join!

OH AND A QUICK UPDATE FROM THE CONVENTION I'VE BEEN TO

Saturday went FANTASTIC, I met so many lovely people, old familiar faces, new fans I met for the first time, some people specifically came for my booth after they saw my Gardendragons on the Convention's Instagram, it was amazing :'D One of the highlights however was dear ShadowFox, one of my patrons, showing up to the event! And another fun moment was when somebody recognized my Pokemon Comics and COMPLETELY freaked out because they didn't know I was GERMAN and even lived in hAMBURG of all places :DD
"Wait - this - iT'S YOU???? YOU DREW THIS??? IT'S YOU!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD I SAW YOUR COMICS ON YOUTUBE"
Bless Starbot Dubs for their Dubs of my comics, a vast majority seems to have discovered my work through this way 😂💖
And then I ascended when she continued saying that she really loves my OC and especially likes that El has such a "unique nose shape"

Oh and of course I returned with some special Loot from the Con
And I mean
You all know why I couldn't leave these behind

ANYWAY, apparently this Comic-Con in particular may host another event in December so might be I'll sign up for it too! No Date has been dropped yet though.

Also seeing as Halloween is on a Monday this year, I am wondering if we should do something fun together as a community? Do a spooky Livestream? Play "scary" Jackbox party-games together? It might be that I'll get invited to a Party that weekend, but I highly doubt it will be on Monday, so I'll let you all know on the server if we'll get to plan something :D
