Shoka Commission - Progress GIF (Patreon)

So happy to have finished this over the weekend <3 

I think this is the first commission I worked on that doesn't include an OC! This is Shoka Sakurane from the RPG "The world ends with you". I'm unfamiliar with it, but that just made it all the more exciting for my customer to commission, since he was eager to see how I'd interpret this character in my own art style. I also used this as an opportunity to draw in a perspective I never tried before - it surely was a challenge, but a welcome one!

The button pin Shoka is holding is called "Black Cat Cards", an item you can use to perform a special attack move in the game. There were only low resolution files of the pin available, so I had to recreate it in photoshop

Even tho it's tiny on the commission, I really like doing stuff like this and in the end it still makes a difference from using a low-resolution version :D
